Tell me about it, stud...

As much as I hate to push my kewl croc picture down, I had to share:
The Spouse is in the other room watching Grease. How cute is that?

Is it the version from Costco with the leather jacket DVD case?

I must admit, whether it's a good movie or not, I have fond memories of my youth associated with that movie. My Fair Lady, too.

Actually he came across it when he was channel surfing.

It's definitely one of those "memories of youth" movies.

I love Greece. I'd have to say I've seen the movie AT LEAST 50 times.

It's actually coming to The Chanhassen Dinner Theatre this month...I think I'll gather up a few girlfriends and go!

Oooh, dinner theatre - that would be such a fun show to go to! Enjoy. :)

Oh my gosh the memories that movie holds for me! David may not remember this, but that movie opened the weekend we were set to leave for our family's trip around the U.S. I "SO" wanted to see it on the Friday it opened but since we were leaving on the next day my parents said no I needed to go to bed early. I begged and pleaded!! Even Dad said no and Teri you know him - he doesn't express his opinion much so for him to say no, that was it. :-(

Then of course every town we went to had Grease playing at it. I just could not convince anyone to stop on the trip and take me to that movie!

Finally we were in New York and walking down Broadway. A lot of the theaters there had little TV screens showing previews of the movies. David and I stopped and started watching the Grease preview. My parents didn't realize we'd stopped and they were several blocks down the street before they realized we weren't with them. I gather you can imagine what happened next...

Ah the memories...
